Useless webfusion

I have been with Webfusion for nearly 14 years and since 2008 have had nothing but grief from them, useless technical support they know nothing about the technical side of any of it, they have twice taken money straight from my bank account for no apparent reason then tell me it will be 5 days before i get it back...i thought that was classed as theft??i have left now and they still have taken money from me supposedly because i cancelled my account a week after they took the money rather than the invoice due date...once again why have an invoice due date if you are taking the money 7 days or more before it is due.....isn't that also theft??...now got better service, better support and better features for a 3rd of the price couldn't be happier now!

2. Lock you out of control panels when they change their systems and then no provision of new access
3. Aggressive accounts department
4. Be careful of small print - will want to charge next billing period - cancel in writing well in advance of next bill

Don't just take my word for how appalling WebFusion's technical support are. Read it for yourself. I've put the entire two months of ineptitude on my website at www.niftyprograms.com Look out for the bit where I have to tell the support guy to allow IE to display popups to view the output of software that he's supposed to be supporting. I would rate this company zero out of five if this were on option. I object to giving WebFusion a point they don't deserve.

The first few months with WebFusion were excellent. But the last three months have been horrendous with a small irritating problem being allowed to develop into three days worth of downtime. Five weeks later, after contacting them 3-4 times a week via phone (their emailing system can't accept emails from me), racking up over ten hours of time on the phone, and the problem is still there.

On three separate occasions, Support Staff have informed me that 2nd tier support are working on the problems, and twice their staff have accessed my site and experienced the problems first hand, but they are no closer to fixing anything.

Seriously disappointing, I'll be looking for a more suitable solution elsewhere.
